... So we've had some snow lately... I guess it can be expected in Wisconsin in the winter, but it's still somewhat shocking for us that the snow just STAYS. I finally took Laney out to swing and play (with restrictions) while the big girls went sledding. This week she actually flew down the hill with me I think she actually liked the swinging better ;)

Chloe even had a snow day one day! We got an inch of ice over several inches of snow, and ice is fairly unusual here. Even more unusual, I looked out during chapel to see fist-sized snowflakes pouring down. Angela and I skipped out on the end of chapel to show our kids. (How often does that happen???) Unfortunately, the huge ones had stopped by the time we drug everyone out, but it was still fun.

It's so much more fun to sled when the snow is fresh!

Laney went to the Dr. yesterday and got the okay to be a normal kid again! Her eyes look great, although she does have a pretty distinct occasional outward turn, and we are SO thankful!

Missing school and friends was pretty hard (for both of us!), but she was great to meander around the building and keep her shades on. The whole toddler class came up one day with cards for her. It was precious. Emmy said "Thank you for coming to see my sister! That was so nice..." I think she was even more impressed than Laney, but there were numerous long goodbyes as they toddled back down the hallway ;)


Emmy and Lanes did find some very interesting ways to amuse themselves as they passed the time... After about a week I let Lanes saddle up the horse, asd long as she kept it to a walk or trot!

We finally got out for our small group. Emma was relieved for some time with friends, too!
