Some friends gave us this toddler bed, since Laney had become a total hazard with the acrobatics in (on/hanging from...) her crib. What a blessing! I had just told Matt how much I longed to be able to lay with the kids when they're sick, etc... Since we can't all lay in our living room, and our bed is nowhere near big enough, I just get tired of not having anywhere I can snuggle them and read books. Now her bed is part of a triple-bunk, but the girls have camped out on the floor next to her or I can curl up with her and read her a book! We are so thankful.

Apparently, though, she misses the crib at times ;)

Shortly after the bed, we got a care package from Aunt Ellen and Uncle Chris. It was a big hit!
...And we had a wonderful visit with Jed and Jenny. Can you tell we have a heart shaped pizza? It was only the beginning of lots of fun over Valentine's weekend! Sometimes we have to remind ourselves how lucky we are to have people we are SO sad to leave!
