Emmy had fun checking out the lakefront with her binocs while Jed and Jenny were here. She's pretty serious about exploring!
I took the pictures below to show Emmy her tonsils, so she can understand why she has to get them out. They're not the most attractive, but you can see why they present a bit of a problem. She has even refused food lately! (Not like her, of course!) Monday, March 10th she and BOTH her sisters will get adenoids and tonsils out and ear tubes put in. Please pray for their comfort and recovery and my sanity!!!

Keep in mind, she's saying "Ahh" in all of these, so her throat is opened up a little!

Hopefully, after having them out the sleep apnea (esp. for Chloe) will subside and we will all be able to get a lot more rest! (And I'm hoping that will also mean less persistent sickness and more ability to fight off the myriad of germs thrown at us in this building!)
